PHASE.

As the title suggests, Reich 85 PHASE celebrates the 85-year-old of Steve Reich, who is the greatest composer in existence, and this project focuses on his early Phase works such as the masterpieces “drumming” and “piano phase”. By adding a video performance that is completely synchronized with live solo, it pursues a live feeling and the presence of the ensemble, but not like simply watching the concert in video and surround sound. Rather, the idea is that there is a performance image that is completely synchronized with the live concert where the audiences are wrapped with immersive sound environment by the studio master (192k / 24bit) audio. When considering ‘a new norm’ at post Covid, Kuniko experiments and seeks out new format of this hybrid concert.
